My focus, for the majority of my life, has been on people, of all ages; their character, their foibles, and their emotions. This is reflected in my work along with inspiration from the surroundings we are in. It is especially inspiring when those surroundings produce a feeling, whether it be joy, fear, amazement or intense wonder. I began to think of myself as an artist when I realized that following a pattern was not my style, and that I liked creating my own designs. Better yet, people liked them! Even more, the process of making my art can be so exciting and satisfying when my hands, and the techniques I choose to use, manage to create what I was seeing in my mind!
